The Toronto Blue Jays are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Toronto & Central Ontario to host some very deserving children for a fantastic day at the ball park. The Wednesday's Wishes program provides Blue Jays players and coaches the opportunity to meet some of the "little heroes" in our community and assist Make-A-Wish in granting wishes creating hope and happiness for children who live with a life-threatening illness.
Prior to each Wednesday game at Rogers Centre, "Wish children" are special guests of the Toronto Blue Jays on-field at Blue Jays batting practice before they retire to their seats to enjoy the game.
Beginning in 2008, a portion of tickets sales in the Make-A-Wish Section at each Wednesday game at Rogers Centre were donated to Make-A-Wish Toronto and Central Ontario to help grant the magical wishes of children living with a life-threatening illness.
