The Toronto Blue Jays Opening Night is a tradition like no other. Thousands of loyal fans come to usher in the start of a new season and cheer on the Jays as they compete against baseballs best.

Opening Night Giveaway
The Blue Jays will be giving all fans a 2009 Fridge Magnet Schedule, courtesy of the Toronto Star. This Fridge Magnet Schedule features the Blue Jays 2009 season schedule along with a picture of manager Cito Gaston. Magnet Schedules will be given away postgame to all fans.

Blue Jays ask fans to arrive early for Opening Ceremonies
While game time between the Blue Jays and Tigers is set for 7:15 p.m., the opening ceremonies will begin after 6:45 p.m. The Blue Jays ask fans heading to the game, to arrive early as lineups are expected to develop at ticket windows and the entrance gates. Fans are also advised lights in the stadium will be turned out to begin the opening ceremonies. The gates at Rogers Centre will open at 5:00 p.m.
