SEEKING J FORCE FAN ACTIVATION TEAM: Please submit a resume and photo to be considered for an audition. See instructions below. Men and Women are encouraged to apply.
 
Seeking ten (10) people for positions on the J Force fan activation team. This co-ed team consists of promotional team members who as a group act as an interactive force representing the Toronto Blue Jays. The members of the J Force participate in promotions, do the seventh inning stretch and act as ambassadors for the Club at Toronto Blue Jays home games.
 
Please note that this is a promotions job. We need outgoing, positive, articulate, energetic and committed people who will enjoy interacting with fans and who are team players. Candidates must also be in great shape, physically fit and coordinated. Experience in promotions, interactive entertainment, dance or athletics are an asset but are not required.
 
AUDITION INFORMATION: 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. At the audition you will be taught the seventh inning stretch and may participate in a simulation of a promotion. Please note that we may be making cuts throughout the auditions.
 
CALLBACK/ INTERVIEW DATES: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in the evening. Candidates MUST be available for an interview. You will be notified of your interview time and location if you are asked to stay after the audition.
 
REQUIREMENTS: Non-union. Ages 19 and up (must show valid I.D. when signing in)
CONTRACT DATES: Part time seasonal employment from approx. March 1, 2009 to October 31, 2009

• Approx. 81 games in total
• Approx. 4 - 5 hour call each game
• Preseason training in March
• First game April 6
• Candidates can hold other jobs as long as they don't conflict with game schedule.
• Full schedule will be provided to those who make it to the Callback/Interview round.

CONTRACT AMOUNT: $100.00 per game, $12.50 hourly training fee (total of approximately $8,100.00 plus training)
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be 19 years of age or older. Must agree to and pass a criminal background check. Must be available for all home games and training. Final terms of contract as set by Rogers Blue Jays Baseball Partnership. Details including remuneration, contract dates and schedules will be provided if hired.
 
AUDITION ATTIRE/ETIQUETTE: No baggy clothing. You may wear sneakers or jazz shoes.
