Jays Television

Toronto Blue Jays game broadcasts are televised nationally in Canada on three of the most watched networks in Canada, Rogers Sportsnet, TSN and CBC.

In total 144 Blue Jays games will be broadcast coast to coasts in 2008. Rogers Sportsnet will carry 100 games, TSN will carry 20 and CBC will carry 24. All games will be carried in High Definition (subject to change).

Season Long viewership continues to be strong with an average of 312,000 per game; 44.6 million in total.

Jays Radio

Fan 590 The Jays are broadcasted live nationally across Canada on 21 stations, exclusively on the Fan Sports Radio Network which includes its flagship station the FAN 590.

Play-by-play man Jerry Howarth and colour commentator Alan Ashby describe the action of Blue Jays games both at home at Rogers Centre and when the team is on the road. Several times a week in-game host Mike Wilner hosts a pre-game show where listeners and fans call in to discuss the team. Every Sunday night, Wilner hosts "Jays this week" as a lead-in to ESPN's Sunday Night Game of the Week. The Fan Radio Network reached an average of 450,000 A12+ listeners per week in 2007.

In addition to the nationally broadcast games via the Canadian stations of the Fan Sports Radio Network, the games can be heard via the Internet on www.bluejays.com, allowing international fans of the Blue Jays to listen in.
