Race for Rookies

Coming off the heels of a successful 2014 campaign, The Young Professionals Board in support of Jays Care is excited to launch an exciting and unique Blue Jays themed city race you won't want to miss!

This year, driven by experiential activities and social endeavours that bring like-minded individuals together, the Young Professionals Board has launched Race for Rookies, building off the showmanship of being challenged, the intensity of being in a race, the pride of being the most knowledgeable Blue Jays fan and of course the general rigour and finesse required to fundraise, the Race for Rookies is just around the corner on August 30, 2015. This Scavenger Hunt Challenge will bring all of these skills together, awarding the winning team (of up to 4 people) a Blue Jays experience that will set this event apart this summer.

By joining you will contribute towards the goal to raise $130,000 so all kids can play the game we all love. Proceeds raised from this event will support Rookie League which uses the game of baseball as a foundation to teach children the importance of team work, cooperation, and self-esteem. This safe, fun, active and engaging baseball program for children focuses on those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in recreational or organized sport.

The Young Professionals Roster invests in children in need from coast to coast by raising awareness and funds within the young professional's community.
