Rogers Sportsnet Broadcast Auction

Jays Care Foundation is hard at work preparing for the 2010 edition of one of the most exciting fundraisers it has ever offered to Blue Jays fans.

This past season, during the Blue Jays home game on June 26, Jays Care Foundation and Rogers Sportsnet teamed up to offer fans from across the country the opportunity to participate in the Foundation's first-ever Live Charity Broadcast Auction.

A total of seven one-of-a-kind baseball themed experiences were auctioned off over the course of the game and by the end of the night a total of $50,000 had been raised in support of the programs and outreach efforts of Jays Care!

So stay tuned for more information about the 2010 Jays Care Foundation Live Charity Broadcast Auction!

Gala
The Curve Ball
Roy and Brandy Halladay take time to pose for a photo with guests at The Curve Ball.

Each summer, Jays Care Foundation hosts its signature fundraising event with its annual gala. At 2009's "The Curve Ball", VIP guests from Toronto's corporate and social scenes joined the entire Blue Jays team, coaching staff and special alumni guests, where they enjoyed an evening of delicious food and drink, fantastic music and entertainment, and incredible live and silent auctions. The event raised nearly $300,000 for Jays Care, capping off a grand slam of a night in style!

Details about the 2010 gala fundraiser will be posted as more information becomes available.

15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Jack Morris, Tom Henke and Jimmy Key
Blue Jays World Series heroes Jack Morris, Tom Henke and Jimmy Key at the 14th Annual Chairty Golf Tournament in support of Jays Care Foundation.

2010 will mark the 15th anniversary of Jays Care Foundation's Annual Charity Tournament. On Monday, August 9, guests will again have the opportunity to play where the pros play – with the pros! With hole contests, sampling opportunities, and fantastic prizing all included in the day's events, guests are treated like MVPs from the first tee right through to the spectacular 19th hole reception.

Golfers lucky enough to attend the sold out 2009 edition of the tournament were treated to a very special bonus, as the current Blue Jays roster was joined by players and coaches from the 92/93 World Series Championship teams to kick-off the festivities surrounding the 92/93 Back2Back Reunion Weekend. The 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $325,000 for Jays Care, making it the most successful year in the tournament's history.
