The Rays Wives Organization participates in community events throughout the baseball season. They plan and coordinate signature events such as the Rays on the Runway Fashion Show to benefit the Children's Dream Fund, as well as the Mystery Ball sale and silent auction to benefit All Children's Hospital and the Thanksmas in July Drive that benefits local charities.
The signature Rays Wives event, the Rays on the Runway Fashion Show to benefit the Children's Dream Fund, took place on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort. The annual event hosts players and coaches who are paired with their significant other, or a child participating from the Children's Dream Fund, an organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. The couples walk the runway and model the season's newest fashions. The event raises more than $70,000 annually for the Dream Fund.
On August 30, 2014, the Wives hosted their 3rd Annual Mystery Ball and Silent Auction benefiting All Children's Hospital. The popular event featured a silent auction of unique items donated by players and coaches and "mystery ball" grab bags. These grab bags included baseballs autographed by Rays players and coaches along with a selection of players from visiting teams. Mystery Ball raised over $36,000 to benefit All Children's Hospital.
On Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, Jaye Maddon and the Rays Wives will once again be collecting new and unused toiletry items to benefit local homeless shelters. Please see below for details on how you can help.

The Rays Wives walked off with a 13-12 win over the Marlins Wives in the "Citrus Classic" prior to the May 27, 2013, Rays-Marlins game at Tropicana Field.
Sarah Fuld raced home from first base on Aly Shelton's single to center field to give the Rays Wives the walk-off win.
The Rays Wives used Monday's game to raise money through pledges to benefit the charity Autism Speaks. The Rays Baseball Foundation matched each pledge. The Marlins Wives played on behalf of Shake-A-Leg Miami, a foundation that works with people with physical, developmental and economic challenges in a marine environment.
The Rays Wives won, 14-2, in Miami last year, but lost the initial meeting between the teams in 2011, when the Marlins Wives took a 6-1 win at Tropicana Field.
The partnership between the Rays, Rays Wives and Pet Pal animal shelter began in 2012 with the creation of the first ever "Players and Pooches" 13-month, full-color calendar. The annual calendar has featured Rays Manager Joe Maddon with his Great Dane, Athena, and his English Bulldog, Winston; Evan Longoria and his Boerboel Mastiff, Tatum and Dachsund, Miss Molly; and Alex Cobb and his American Bulldog, Axel.
On Sunday, September 7, 2014 the Rays Wives will be hosting a pet food drive to benefit Pet Pal Animal Shelter. Fans are encouraged to bring dog and cat food (preferably Science Diet brand) to Gate 1 or Gate 6 where Rays Wives and Pet Pal staff members will be on hand to collect the items. These donations will help the shelter's effort to give every pet a nutritious meal.
During the game, the Rays Wives will also hold a silent auction with items from Rays players and other All-Stars around the league on the tbt* Party Deck.
Pet Pal is a no-kill, non-profit organization committed to rescuing dogs and cats from animal shelters where they may otherwise be euthanized due to time limitations or lack of socialization or training.
