The San Diego Padres announced this week that they have named Sarah Farnsworth senior vice president, public affairs. Farnsworth joined the Padres on Monday and will oversee the communications, community relations and military affairs departments.
As is the tradition of most players, this offseason the Padres will take to the links. Bats and gloves get put away in place of drivers, irons and putters and 2012 will be no exception as the Padres once again partner with the Farmers Insurance Open.
