'Livin' the Dream' video series returns to give fans an up-close and personal look at their favorite players chasing a World Series title
The Major League Baseball Players Association today announced the release of three new "Livin' the Dream" videos, out of a series of five, that feature an inside look into the lives of the Major Leaguers in hot pursuit of a World Series championship. The popular online video series, co-produced by the MLBPA and Mandalay Sports, is presented by 2K Sports.
Living the dream and sharing their thoughts during the 2013 postseason are Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals, Jacoby Ellsbury of the Boston Red Sox and Max Scherzer of the Detroit Tigers. The remaining videos in the series will feature two more World Series participants, Lance Lynn of the Cardinals and Shane Victorino of the Red Sox. Cameras follow players off the field -- in cars, their apartments and on the streets -- as they discuss how they prepared, practiced and dreamed about winning the World Series. The series was created by the MLBPA in 2010 as a way to provide fans with an intimate look into the lives of big leaguers as they compete on baseball's biggest stage.
"Livin' the Dream" videos are being distributed by USAToday.com in connection with the website's postseason coverage of Major League Baseball and related content pages.
