Rookie Brett Cecil's scoreless streak ended at 18 innings, but he allowed just one run on four hits over seven innings, helping the Jays salvage the series finale with the Rays. Cecil got most of his support from Scott Rolen, who went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in the fourth.
