The Jays just couldn't push across the big run when they needed to, going 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position while stranding five runners on base. Aaron Hill had the Jays' lone extra-base hit, a double in the fifth inning. Scott Richmond pitched well but allowed three solo home runs.
