It just wasn't a 1-2-3 kind of day for Kyle Davies, who served up nine hits -- including two homers -- and wasn't much of a match for opposing starter Roy Halladay. The Royals' offense wasn't quite a match, either, as it managed seven hits but no runs en route to the club's ninth loss in its past 10 matchups.
