In his third big league start, Ricky Romero threw seven, four-hit shutout innings, and the Jays responded with just enough to get him the win. Lyle Overbay's second-inning RBI single scored the only run, and a relay started by Vernon Wells threw out the A's Mark Ellis at the plate in the third.
