Jays Care celebrates $1.9-million investment in Canada's youth
Jays Care Grants Night at Rogers Centre honours 2012 community partners

In 2012, JAYS CARE FOUNDATION, the charitable arm of the TORONTO BLUE JAYS invested more than $1.9 million in Canadian communities and impacted more than 23,000 children and youth across Canada. On Wednesday, April 17, this achievement will be celebrated and Jays Care's 2012 community partners will be honoured during Grants Night in the Jays Care Community Clubhouse at Rogers Centre.
Youth Assisting Youth mentee, Allan Fabrykant, will throw out the Blue Jays' ceremonial first pitch, while an in-game cheque presentation for $1.9 million will be presented to Jays Care's 2012 community partners. Rob Drynan, Jays Care Foundation Executive Director, and members of the Jays Care Board of Directors, will be on hand for the cheque presentation, photo opportunity, and to field questions about Jays Care's partnerships. Grants Night will kick-off at 7 p.m. ET.
