Blue Jays acquire Olivo

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have acquired C MIGUEL OLIVO from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for a player to be named or cash considerations.
OLIVO, 32, spent the entire season with Colorado in 2010, posting a .269 average with 14 home runs and 58 RBI. In nine major league seasons, the 6'0', 229 pound native of Villa Vasquez, Dominican Republic has recorded a .246 average with 110 home runs and 388 RBI with Chicago, Seattle, San Diego, Florida, Kansas City and Colorado.
