    The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight's game with the San Francisco Giants that they have traded first baseman Matt Adams and cash considerations to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for minor league infielder Juan Yepez. In addition, the Cardinals activated outfielder Stephen Piscotty (right hamstring strain) from the 10-day disabled list.

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced the team will host a Flood Relief Benefit Concert in partnership with New Country 92.3 radio prior to the Memorial Day game at Busch Stadium on Monday, May 29. With thousands of area residents still recovering from the recent flooding, fans can purchase specially-priced $9.23 tickets with proceeds going to the Salvation Army's relief efforts in the area. 100% of the proceeds from the first 1,000 tickets sold will be donated, and the Cardinals will also make an additional matching donation.

  • Cardinals to honor 1967 World Series championship team on Wednesday

    In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1967 championship season, the St. Louis Cardinals will honor 14 former team members in a pregame ceremony before Wednesday's 7:15 p.m. game against the club's '67 World Series opponent, the Boston Red Sox.
