The Kansas City Royals and 610 Sports Radio today announced the first 16 broadcasts of the 2015 Royals Spring Training Radio schedule that will air on KCSP-AM.

School Day at the K set for May 7
The Kansas City Royals and FOX 4 WDAF-TV will host the 17th annual School Day at The K on Thursday, May 7 prior to the club's 1:10 p.m. game versus the Cleveland Indians. Now in its 17th year, School Day at The K is the largest educational field trip in Kansas City and the Guinness World Records' Largest Weather Show, which attracts approximately 20,000 students and educators each year. School Day at The K also fulfills Next Generation Science Standards for grades K-12.

The Kansas City Royals announced their 2014 team award winners today, which were voted on by the Kansas City Chapter of the BWAA. Outfielder Lorenzo Cain was named the Les Milgram Player of the Year, while relief pitcher Wade Davis garnered the Bruce Rice Pitcher of the Year award and starting pitcher Yordano Ventura earned the Joe Burke Special Achievement Award. All three were first-time winners of these awards.
