Q: How has the time away from being an active player affected your attitude toward playing?-- Margaret D.
A: You learn how quickly things can be taken away. I try not to take anything for granted.
Q: Do you still keep up with LSU baseball when you get a chance?
-- Ford
A: As much as I can. I still bleed purple and gold!
Q: How has manager Cito Gaston asked you to approach hitting in the two-slot? Just continue to approach the at-bat as usual? Since the two-slot is supposed to move runners more, will you spend any more time working at bat control -- i.e., bunting and hitting the other way?
-- Gord
A: As of right now, nothing has changed. Gaston likes my approach as of now, and will make the adjustments if needed in the future.
Q: As a kid in high school, how much did you work out?
-- Aaron
A: I played football, soccer and baseball, and each sport required workouts four days a week.
Q: If you could pick any memorable moment that happened to you during your MLB career, what would it be and why?
-- Stephanie
A: Seeing how happy my father was when I got called up.
Q: I'm sure there must be some good pranks played in the clubhouse. In your opinion, who's the best prankster, and what's his best prank?
-- Michael
A: No big pranksters. Just lots of laughs.
Q: What type of glove do you use? What size is it? What method do you use to work your glove into game shape?
-- Brandon A.
A: I use a Rawlings glove, 11 1/4. I break in a glove in Spring Training.
Q: Which is your favorite Jays uniform to play in? My favorite is the black jersey with white pants!
-- Tomlyn
A: I don't really have a favorite. They are all comfortable.
Q: What weightlifting movements/exercises do you do to improve bat speed and strength?
-- Charles L.
A: Forearm exercises and speed agilities.
Q: On a day when you have no game, what does the team do?
-- Ryan B.
A: Everybody does something different. I like to relax, take the dog on a long walk, and take my wife to dinner and a movie.
