D-backs bring back infielder Ojeda
Valuable utilityman returns to Arizona with one-year contract
LAS VEGAS -- The D-backs signed a second baseman on Wednesday.
Instead of it being one of the free agents they were pursuing, it was Augie Ojeda, who signed a one-year contract for $712,500.

Ojeda, who will turn 34 later this month, has been a valuable utility player for the D-backs the past two seasons.
The switch-hitter batted .242 in 105 games at second, third and shortstop.
Ojeda was eligible for salary arbitration.
The D-backs likely still will try to acquire additional help at second.
