
Baseball lifer Buck Martinez was inducted into the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Hall of Fame on Thursday, receiving a plaque to commemorate the honor. John Albert "Buck" Martinez played catcher for the Royals (69-77), Brewers (78-80) and Blue Jays (81-86). He also managed the Toronto from 2001-02 and took part in the only 9-2-7-2 double play in baseball history.
Martinez is currently part of the Blue Jays broadcast team.
