Blue Jays agree to terms with Frasor, Tallet & Accardo

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have agreed to terms with the following players on contracts for the 2010 season; RHP JASON FRASOR at US $2,650,000, LHP BRIAN TALLET for US $2,000,000 and RHP JEREMY ACCARDO on a US $1,080,000 contract.

FRASOR, 32, posted a 7-3 record with a 2.50 ERA and 11 saves in 61 games. The seven wins represented a career high and were T-4th among all AL relievers. The 5-10, 175 lb. Chicago, Illinois native is 19-23 with 32 saves and a 3.78 ERA over six seasons.

TALLET, 32, made a career high 25 starts last season among his 37 games, going 7-9 with a 5.32 ERA. The 6-7, 215 lb. left-hander is 13-15 with a 4.32 ERA in four seasons as a Blue Jay. Has a career record of 14-17 with a 4.29 ERA in 189 games, 31 starts for Toronto and Cleveland (2002-2005).

ACCARDO, 28, appeared in 26 games for Toronto last season, compiling one save and a 2.55 ERA. The 6-1, 192 lb. Mesa, Arizona native has recorded 38 saves and a 3.81 ERA in 199 games over five seasons with Toronto and San Francisco (2005).
