The Cleveland Indians Wives Association hosted a silent auction at Progressive Field on Saturday, May 18th vs Marlins. Mystery Balls signed by current Indians players were available for purchase.
The Cleveland Indians Wives Association hosted an in-game jersey auction on September 15th, featuring game-worn Indians jerseys. Mystery Balls were also sold.
A Susan G. Komen presentation took place on-field during pregame ceremonies on May 20th and included a larger than life-size signature pink ribbon. The Progressive Field pregame festivities are a precursor to the September 10 NE Ohio Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure throughout downtown Cleveland. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
On May 3, Cleveland Indians front office associates and members of the Indians Wives Association battled the Cleveland Browns front office during this exciting rivalry, "The Cleveland Sports Bowl", with funds supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland. Over the 10-year partnership, nearly $50,000 has been raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland.
