Evening on the Diamond presented by University of Phoenix is the signature fundraising event of the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. As the largest fundraiser for the Foundation, Evening on the Diamond has become an important tradition that kicks off the season each year. D-backs players and coaches including Kirk Gibson, Aaron Hill, Ian Kennedy, Martin Prado, J.J. Putz, Cody Ross and many others mingling with the Valley's top companies and philanthropists.

The seventh annual event took place on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Chase Field with nearly 700 guests treated to a delicious 1970s era dinner menu and an incredible live performance by Chicago. The 2013 gala raised $1.8 million and has raised $10 million overall. Funds go back to charities and non-profit organizations throughout the state of Arizona.
